Spring Weddings at the Wonderful Coombe Abbey last Friday and Saturday

Both cars were used for the Wedding of Paula and Robert on Saturday. We travelled from Earl Shilton, Hinckley to Coombe Abbey on a lovely sunny day allowing Paula and her Father to lower the hood for our arrival at the Abbey Gate. The newly married couple chose to take a short trip in the Beauford followed by the Bridesmaids in the Badsworth. Both hoods were down to the delight of the many visitors to Coombe Country Park which must have added an "extra" to their visit. Good wishes were offered to sounding of the klaxon horn on the Badsworth. All good fun at a lovely Spring Wedding.

Friday saw the Wedding of Kayleigh and James. Two trips were made from Coventry to Coombe Abbey - Bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride followed by Kayleigh and her Father. The Badsworth proved to be the ideal car for a dry but chilly day (very cosy with the heater on). As is usual for our Civil Ceremony Weddings the Bride and Groom enjoyed a short trip to relax together for a few minutes prior to the photos etc. I like the photo of the couple with the Badsworth from the rear for a change!
