The magical setting of St James Church Ansty near to Coventry

St James Church Ansty is little known even by locals as it is so hidden from view. Interestingly the best view is from the M69 approaching Coventry (only a a passenger of course). The Church is often used for couples getting married from the adjacent Ansty Hall. The occasion for Rachel and Nicholas was in fact a blessing, as they were married in a secret ceremony in a Scottish Castle. It was quite a special occasion for me as I had taught Nicholas in the "olden days" at George Elliot School, Nuneaton. To enhance the occasion we were treated to music from an Irish and Scottish pipe band from Birmingham - they were excellent. The reception was next door at Ansty Hall so a 15min detour was called for following the ceremony, partly to allow the guests to walk to the Hall but also to allow Rachel and Nicholas a quiet time together.

How lovely is this! A perfect setting for such a nice couple following a Scottish Castle Wedding and a Blessing at St James Church Ansty, Coventry. My best wishes to Rachel and Nicholas for their future together.
