Perfect English country wedding in Leicestershire. Grendon to Sutton Cheney

Vicki accompanied by her cousin travelled the short journey from home in Baddesley Ensor to the lovely All Saint's Church, Grendon. For me it was a return to the Church after a few years. So nice to visit again and be reminded of its attractive situation. Following a few photos Tom and Vicki were ready for the drive to the reception venue, The Royal Arms at Sutton Cheney. Using the A5 is the obvious route but on a wedding day I steer well clear and like to use the country lanes. As you know a big issue with driving recently is having to avoid the many potholes so I was amazed at what we found! The lanes from Grendon through Sibson, Shenton and to Sutton Cheney were the smoothest I have experienced, and I can't remember one pothole! Suggest take a slower (but much more enjoyable) drive along country lanes to experience the pleasure of motoring once again. On arriving at The Royal Arms we did the usual manoeuvre of turning left towards the outdoor tables and welcoming drinks awaiting service to the Bridal party and guests. Our best wishes to the newly married Vicki and Tom from John at Married in Style
