Lovely sunny and hot day for a "local wedding" at Market Bosworth

The third consecutive wedding with agreeable weather. A "Spanish Plume" was forecast prompting thunderstorms, but the 10.30am wedding was well ahead of any problems with rain. A relatively short trip from Emma's home in Ibstock to St Peter's Church, Market Bosworth, Leicestershire, along my favourite approach via Carlton. The Church spire stands well, denoting Bosworth in the distance. Bride and Father were greeted by the familiar face of the Rev David Jennings (ex St Catherine's Church, Burbage. Our home village). Whilst waiting for the newly married couple I always take a glance at the top section of the Church Spire. As the bells start to chime the top section can be seen to ocillate in harmony. Not any danger but an interesting observation if you are passing when the bells are ringing. Emma & James enjoyed an open top drive through the village to the grounds of Bosworth Hall for a few "romantic" photos. A brief drive back into Market Bosworth and we arrived on time at The Black Horse for the reception.

Emma and James enjoying the sun in the grounds of Bosworth Hall. Luckily the grass was nice and dry for a "photo shoot" excursion!
