The car was a surprise for Natalie and Martin who were married at Warwick House in Southam. The idea was for me to arrive in time to whisk the couple away for a quiet drive for 1/2hour following the marriage ceremony. The day turned out to be rather cold and very dull and "rainy", however as can be seen in the photo the couple were really excited on seeing the car and suddenly the rain didn't matter anymore.
Having recently visited the Butchers Arms (excellent food) at Priors Hardwick I thought a trip out and back would be the ideal route to take. The lanes were very quiet and "new" to the couple who chatted together for the whole journey, oblivious of the weather conditions. This was one of the few days this year when the hood stayed firmly up exhibiting the warm saloon like interior of the Badsworth Landaulette.
I love this pic with the umbrella. Natalie and Martin ready to take a drive in the Badsworth along some quiet Warwickshire lanes prior to the wedding breakfast At Warwick House.
