A Country Wedding from Stoney Stanton to Earl Shilton and then to the Hamlet of Street Ashton.

Michelle and Charlie were married at St Simon and St Jude Church in Earl Shilton. A couple of trips were made to Church from Stoney Stanton along lanes which were new to me despite living in the area. A lovely drive as the Autumn colours were just establishing. A cross country trip was made via the lovely village of Monks Kirby to the familiar reception venue of Ashton Lodge in the hamlet of Street Ashton

Michelle and Charlie took full advantage of the ruins of Earl Shilton Castle for a photo shoot prior to leaving for their reception at Ashton Lodge. Only a few yards with the hood down, a brief stop to pull the hood up and they were nice a warm for the journey along lanes to Street Ashton. We were greeted by the waiting guests on our "showy" arrival, again with the hood lowered. A great occasion.
